Andrés Bonifacio

Andrés Bonifacio Castro (November 30th 1863 - May 10th 1897) is there one of the chiefs of the revolution Filipino E against the colonial government Spanish, first of its kind in Asia against a colonial government Européen. Born in a poor family from Manila, it founds in 1892 the revolutionary secret society Katipunan which will constitute the base of the Filipino revolutionary army. It names without its assent Jose Rizal honorary president. This last, in favor of one peaceful solution to colonization, takes its distances with the movement which recommends the armed action against with the " kastila" (Spaniards in Tagalog). Bonifacio ignites the indigenous masses and encourages its partisans to start a rebellion.
