Anatoli Vassiliev

Anatoli Vassiliev (1942 -) is a Russian Director. In 1968, it enters to the Academy of state of Dramatic art Lounatcharski of Moscow (Gitis). In 1987, it directs the theater “School of Dramatic art”. This school (which it continues to direct) appears as a laboratory in which experiments on the voice or the place of the body are undertaken. It also attempted to put in scene nontheatrical texts to question orality and the literary value of it. Heir to Stanislavski, it sets up the dramatic art at the top of other arts to make an art of living of it. He is very highly criticized for his settings in scene considered to be calamitous of Molière, or lately of Iliade.
