Analog Bubblebath 3

Analog Bubblebath 3 left in 1993 under the pseudonym Richard D. James: AFX, which is also under the character of Aphex Twin, published under its label Rephlex. This album, in the beginning, contained 8/9 pieces done everything in techno acid.
the republication of Analog Bubblebath 3 in 1997 Cd is the same one as that of 1993, with three titles moreover and in vinyl, under the name of Analog Bubblebath 3.1 , five titles were published to make following Analog Bubblebath 3 in vinyl.
Then in 2002, it was republished in almost complete vinyl, three pieces were forgotten (the piece .38 and those dAnalogist Bubblebath 3.1 : Aa1 and Aa3).
Analog Bubblebath 3 was published in several different forms, each one having its specific characteristics. The titles of the pieces nowhere do not appear on aucunes various editions except for the Japanese edition of Analog Bubblebath 3 whose CD is " décoré" (the English LP and CD of did not print anything on them to identify them) and accompanied by a booklet on Rephlex and Richard D. James. He contains also a data base style manga of Richard and Donkey Rhubears (bear of Donkey Rhubarb ).
In connection with the mysterious titles, Richard has one day explained that the figures corresponded to the zip codes, dates of birthdays and old phone numbers of Grant Wilson-Claridge (cofounder of Rephlex) completely mixed with his. Except .38 which is a one duration old piece of 38 secondes.

original Version vinyl (CAT 008 LP) The original edition vinyl (CAT 008 LP) left in a fine paper case shining maroon with an opening in teeth saw and a sticker code bar with number “REPH 008” registered voter above. It also left with a paper photocopied the instructions use (" instructions for use") for the pieces A4 and A5 (see low), a list of " places off interest in Cornwall" (interesting places in Cornwall where was born Richard), a list of email order of Rephlex, as well as a history and the intentions of exits of the Rephlex.
label The piece " A4/A5" on the LP contains two pieces played simultaneously (one on each enclosure). The two pieces are reproduced on tracks 3 and 5 of the version CD. The piece .0180871R starts on the track " A4/A5" (on the right enclosure) and, after 7 seconds, .0180871L starts (on the left enclosure). At 3 minutes and 55 seconds, .0180871L finishes in dissolve whereas .0180871R continues until the end of the piste.
The LP has the following inscriptions engraved on a:" face; this record belongs to ..................... " (this disc belongs to ...........) and " porum premium cut" has; like " cat 008 ----- S2". On face b: " porum primer" has; and " cat 008 ---- W1".

In September 2002, Analog Bubblebath 3 is republished in a version vinyl of which the pieces correspond to the versions of the CD.

Version CD (CAT 008 CD) The version CD (first edition) was in a plastic packaging with bubbles of air and on the plastic case was reproduced a black and white sticker saying " 66% more bubbles" (66% of bubbles in more). On the republication is stuck a blue, black and white label brilliant which says: " written and produced by Richard D. James". Blue bubbles containing the logo of Aphex Twin are also reproduced on the label of the republication whereas on the first edition the bubbles were black. The republication has also another sticker on the back of its mentioning case of information of production and edition like the information delivered on the 12" published under reference CAT 00897 ( Similar Bubblebath 3.1 ). Lastly, the first edition engraved on its central round " mastered by Nimbus" whereas the republication carries engraving " A6213 CAT008CD: |: 0" and " IFPI L123 NIMBUS IFPI L123".
One of the versions contains CD without anything printed top (the only manner of knowing which playable east coast, the code " KEY CAT008CD" , that one sees in the center of Cd, must be with back with the eyes when one puts it at reading…)
The pieces CAT 00897 (titles n° 8,9 and 13) make référencier and are also those of Analog Bubblebath 3.1 . The title only #1 can make think of ambient the The Garden Of Linmiri , resulting from compiles Caustic Window: Compilation , left in 1993/1998 and 2001.
