Amiina

Amiina (in the past Amína ) is a quartet Icelandic which uses mainly string instruments. It is composed of four young ladies:

  • Edda Rún Ólafsdóttir

  • Hildur Ársælsdóttir
  • María Huld Markan Sigfusdottir
  • Sólrún Sumarliðadóttir

Since 1999, they collaborate with the group Sigur Rós in studio and concert; they also ensured the first part of their last round.

Between the concerts of its round 2005/2006, the group works on a first album.
