Amicie de Courtenay

Amicie of Courtenay , born in 1250, died in 1275, was the girl of Pierre de Courtenay (1218 - † 1250), lord of Conches and Mehun, and Perrenelle de Joigny, girl of Left-handed person of Joigny.

His/her father found death at the time of the Bataille of Mansourah during the Seventh crusade.

By its great-grandfather Pierre Ier de Courtenay, it is member of a Maison capétienne of Courtenay, a branch junior by Capétiens.

She marries Robert II (1250 † 1302), count d' Artois, and had as children:

  • Mahaut (1268 † 1329)
  • Philippe (1269 † 1298)
  • Robert (1271 † 1272)
