Alvare VI of Kongo or Nimi has Lukeni has Nzenze has Ntumba (in Kikongo ) and Alvaro VI (in Portuguese ).
Killing in female line from Anna Ntumba the third girl from the king Alphonse Ier from Kongo. Duke of Mbemba since 1634, it seizes the power the August 27th 1636 after the disappearance of his cousin Alvare V of Kongo a descendant of Isabel Lukeni the second girl of the king Alphonse Ier. During its 6 years reign it must give up in 1637 the area of Makuta to the count de Soyo and engage Luanda with Dutch.
He dies the January 22nd or February 1641 and is replaced by his younger brother Garcia II of Kongo.
