Altolaguirre handbook
Manuel Altolaguirre (1905, Málaga - 1959, Burgos) is a Spanish Poète .
It is perhaps the most spiritual poet and intimist of the generation of 27. In his compositions one feels the influence of Saint Jean of the Cross, Garcilaso of Vega, Juan Ramón Jiménez and Pedro Salinas.
Although its production was short and unequal, it knew to create a world intimist and rich in nuances.
Among its books let us quote Las islas invitadas (1926), Poemas LED agua (1927), Soledades juntas (1931), the lenta libertad (1936), temporal Nube (1939), Fin of a amor (1949) and Poemas in América (1955).
In addition to its poetry, Altolaguirre wrote a book of memories: El caballo griego , of many articles of Critical arts person, some translations and of the works of Theater.
As an editor it took part with Emilio Prados in the foundation, Málaga and in 1926, of Litoral , re-examined in which will publish a good part of the generación LED 27 , and during its exile Cuba in it also created the support Verónica dedicated him to the literary text-editing.
