Alternext

Alternext is a platform of transactions organized created on May 17th, 2005 by Euronext bound for the small and medium-size companies of the Euro area. This market is not regulated within the meaning of the European directive on the services in investment. Alternext was created to offer an alternative of quotation to the small and medium-size companies wishing to raise capital in the euro area per hour when it becomes increasingly difficult for the companies to reach the regulated markets like Eurolist , the market of action of Euronext. Another objective of the creation of this " new marché" is to propose a hyphen between the regulated market and the capital investment.

The performance of the companies dimensioned on Alternext is illustrated by the evolution of the index named Alternext All Share .

Access terms

The companies candidates in Alternext must have a two years history of accounts. The companies can enter the market with or without offer with the public. Within the frameworks of an public offering, it is necessary a floating capitalization of at least 2,5 million euros.

Listing Sponsor

Throughout their stock exchange course, the companies candidates then with dimensions are accompanied by a listing sponsor . It is about an organizer of market approved by Euronext. It has a role close to the expert in median values on Eurolist . It is committed in particular for a two years minimum duration diffusing an expertise on the companies with dimensions.
