Alphonse de Capoue

Alphonse of Capoue is a Norman prince kingdom normanno-sicilian. Born towards 1120/22, it is the third wire of the king Roger II of Sicily and of the princess Elvire of Castille.

After the final tender of the principality of Capoue in 1134 ( principality of origin lombarde pertaining since 1058 to the family Norman exit of Rainulf Drengot and his/her brothers ), it east invests by his/her father of the titles of “prince de Capoue” (1135), and of << duke of Naples >>. It controls until in 1137 with the assistance of Guarin, chaplain and chancellor of his father.

He dies prematurely the October 10th 1144 at the time of a military campaign in Italy (Latium), accompanying his older brother Roger d' Apulie.
