The alphabet used to write the Persan is a modified form of the Arabic alphabet.

The following letters are not new letters but rather a different form to write existing letters; and in the case of lām ʼalif , a binding.
Although they have the air at first sight similar, there are many differences in the way in which various languages use alphabets.
For example, of the similar words are written differently into Persan and Arabic, since they are not used in the same way.
