Alexander B-1
In 1930 the sales of private planes are with lowest because of the Grande economic Depression. Using the tools and materials available in the factory of Colorado Springs, Alexander Aircraft Company carries out a motoplanor motorized with an engine of Henderson motor bike. Only one motorized specimen (c/n 101) appears on the files of FAA, but about fifty pure sailplanes were sold with the unit price of 375 U$, which returned the Alexander B-1 gravitational and popular.
