Aleš Hemský

Aleš Hemský (born the August 13rd 1983 with Pardubice, Czech Republic) is a player of professional hockey of the National league of hockey evolving/moving with the Oilers d' Edmonton. It was fished out by Oilers at the time of the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 2001, with the 13th position.

Professional path

Before joining the major rows, Hemsky had disputed two seasons with the Olympiques of Hull of the Ligue of hockey major junior of Quebec, with which it gained in 2001 the Trophée Michael Bossy, given annually to the best hope of the league.

At the time of its first two professional seasons with Oilers, Hemsky showed a remarkable talent and a potential without however presenting impressive statistics. During the lockout of the season 2004-05, it is turned over in its birthplace to play with the club HC Pardubice, just like Milan Hejduk, of the Avalanche of Colorado. With the assistance of those, the Czech club gained the Czech Championnat Extraliga for the first time in 16 years.

At the time of its third season with Oilers in 2005-06, Hemsky exploded with an offensive production of 77 points, which placed it at the first rank of the best pointers of its team. At the time of the eliminatory series, it continued to be illustrated by marking goals at crucial moments and contributed to successes of its team, which went until the finales of the Coupe Stanley.
