Albert Simonin

Albert Simonin (1905 - 1980) was a Scénariste and a writer French of detective novels.

Biography

Author of a dictionary of Slang published in 1957, Albert Simonin is known to have reproduced in his novels the speech of the hooligans with a great preoccupation of exactitude and a precision. This characteristic gives today to its work a very as well dated air it is true as this form of expression is subjected to a rapid obsolescence. Wire of a florist, born in Paris, Albert Simonin leaves the elementary school to become, at 12 years, banner then successively electrician, stove setter and negotiating in pearls.
