Alain Geiger is a player then trainer of Football Suisse born the November 5th 1960 with Uvrier.

Career

This central defender, captain of the national team, played in several Swiss clubs (Sion, Servette, Neuchâtel Xamax and Grasshoper). He also played two years in the championship of France with Saint-Etienne.

Thereafter, he became trainer of Grasshopper, Neuchâtel Xamax and FC Aarau. Following one 6th defeat of affiliated against its old club Neuchâtel Xamax on Sunday, April 30, 2006, it resigns of its post of trainer with the FC Aarau where it is replaced by Urs Schönenberger. It involves then the Lausanne-sport during 6 months, before resigning following the bad results of the club and leaving to involve the Olympique of Safi (OCS) in Morocco.
