Al Jefferson

Al Jefferson is a player of Basket-ball (born the January 4th 1985 in Monticello in the the Mississippi) which evolves/moves at the station of strong winger for the Minnesota Timberwolves, its nickname is Big Al

Career

He was the first high-school pupil drafté by Celtics when he was selected in 15th position of the draft in 2004. After a first solid season for a player exit of the tournaments high-school girls, Al Jefferson knows a second season disturbed by the wounds. However, he is seen by the fans of Celtics like which can become one of the best players at his station in the years to come. During the season 2006-2007 , Al Jefferson compiles 16 points and 11 rebounds of average per match, allowing him for the first time of its career to record double-double of average over one season. Its best match is without any doubt vis-a-vis the Nets (90-92 victory of Celtics) where it registered 36 points and taken 18 rebounds.

July 31st, 2007, it is transferred, with Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair, Ryan Gomes and Theo Ratliff, with the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange of Kevin Garnett.

Anecdote

During its first season with Celtics, Al Jefferson carried the number 8 which was before the property of Antoine Walker. When this one returned to Boston at the semi-season, Al Jefferson yielded number 8 free to him (the exchanges of number are usually monnayent in NBA) and carries from now on number 7.
