Airport of Biarritz-Rebated joint-Bayonne
The airport of Biarritz-Rebated joint-Bayonne is a Aéroport French located on the communes of Anglet (75%) and of Biarritz (25%) in the department of the Yrénées-Atlantiques and the area Aquitaine, whose creation dates from the years 1950.
History
It is managed by the mixed trade-union for the installation and the exploitation of the aerodrome of Biarritz-Bayonne-Rebated joint composed of the Chamber of commerce and of industry of Bayonne Basque Country, the Communauté of agglomeration of Bayonne-Rebated joint-Biarritz (CABAB), the department of the Yrénées-Atlantiques, the department of the Landes and the commune of Saint-Jean-with-Luz. The president currently in exercise is Didier Borotra.
In addition to his activities and responsibilities for exploitation and installation, this mixed trade-union is owner of the aerodrome since January 1st, 2007.

The airport of Biarritz accommodated 865.601 passengers in 2006. It is, by its passenger traffic, the 14th airport of province. Its activity has been in regular growth for several years and accompanies the economic growth by the Southern area of the Moor-Coast Basque. The maximum capacity of its air terminal ranges between 1,2 and 1,4 million annual passengers.
