African American Museum in Philadelphia
The African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) is a museum devoted to the culture Afro-américain E located in the town of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. It opened its doors with the public in 1976 at the time of the bicentenary of the Déclaration of American independence. It was then the first museum dedicated to the history and the traditions Afro-Americans. Its first director was Charles H. Wesley.
