Adriana Calcanhotto

Adriana da Cunha Calcanhoto or more simply Adriana Calcanhotto is a singer and a compositrice Brésil ienne. It was born with Porto Alegre in the State from the Rio Grande C Sul on October 3rd, 1980. It is currently one of principal representing MPB.

Its compositions gather various styles going of the samba to the rock'n'roll, while passing by the Bossa nova, the Funk, the pop or of the Ballade S.

Biography

Adriana is the girl of the beater of a group of Jazz, Carlos Calcanhoto, and of a Danse uses. At six years, his/her grandfather offers to him its first instrument, a Guitare. She learns how to play about it and also studies the Chant. She plunges quickly in various musical influences (MPB) and arts persons (Brazilian modernism). She is fascinated by the Mouvement antropophagic of Oswald de Andrade, Tarsila C Amaral etc
