Adil Châh

Adil Châh (? - 1748) was Shah of Iran between June 19th 1747 and the September 29th 1748. He was the nephew of Nadir Shah which he had followed on the throne. To seize the power it made kill the children and small children of Nadir Shah, épargant only Shâhrokh, one of its grandsons who was old only 14 years. It was reversed by a coup d'etat of his brother Ebrahim who made him burst the eyes. Ebrahim was killed almost immediately afterwards by its troops and Adil Shah was him also put at died at this time.
