Abundant
Abondant is a common French, located in the department of Eure-et-Loir and the area Center (French area). Located at 10 km in the North-East of Dreux, 75 km in the west of Paris and 45 km in the north of Chartres. It belongs to the Canton of Anet and the district of Dreux. Abundant is the largest commune in surface of Eure-et-Loir.
Its inhabitants is called the Abondantais (be) .
Geography
Most of the surface of the commune is in the national forest of Dreux, which is crossed by the footpath GR. 22 which connects Paris to the Mount-Saint-Michel.

Places and monuments
Church Saint Pierre, 13th century.Castle of the 17th century, refitted in hotel residence and old people's home (registered with the additional inventory of the Historic buildings). The large living room (18th century) of this castle, composed of painted woodworks, consoles, seats, gloss and chimney, is with the Musée from Louvre in Paris (Sully wing - 1st stage) - one can discover it on the site insecula.
