Abred

Abred represents the “world of the tests” in the Néo-druidisme.

The Celtic cross, with its branches recutting of the concentric circles, illustrates a design of the world. On the vibratory level, it behaves like a Labyrinthe. But the commentators have of it sometimes a divergent vision.

Outside towards the interior, one observes successively the circles of Keugant, Abred, Anwn and Gwenwed. Abred corresponds to the sphere of the need, from where it is possible to fall in Anwn or contrary to going up towards Gwenwed. These concepts were invented by the néo-druid Welsh, Iolo Morganwg.
