  • Revolt in China. The chief Shatuo (Turkish) Li Keyong drives out revolted Chang' year and restores the dynasty Tang. Huang Chao flees with the Shandong where it is killed. Li Keyong receives in stronghold the province of Shanxi while Zhu Wen, lieutenant de Huang Chao rejoined with the imperial cause receives an important part of the Henan around Kaifeng. The two chiefs dispute the capacity in north whereas the south is shared between seven provincial dynasties.
  • Raid of the Samanides to the Catholic students during which a church is transformed into Mosquée.

The Middle East and Arab world

  • Al-Muwaffaq, half-brother of the caliph Al-Driven `tamid represses the revolt of the Zandj, slaves black of the plantations in Iraq. It takes their capital Al Muktara (“ selected the ”).

Worsen Carolingian
