April 30th: Died of Thierry IV and beginning of the interregnum of Charles Martel (fine in 743) which leaves vacant the throne mérovingien.

the Moors take Avignon with the support of Maucontius and extend their devastations until Lyon and the Aquitaine.
- Charles Martel besieges Avignon of which he massacres the population then continues the Moors until in Septimanie.
