- April: Constantin II attacks his brother Constant with whom it claims part of the Italy. It is beaten close to Aquilée and is killed in its escape, in spite of a numerical advantage. Constant and Constance II share its States.

Constantin II, associated Roman Emperor.
- Eusèbe de Césarée, Christian Greek writer, historian and geographer (born in 265). Reconciling with regard to Arius, he wrote apologetic works and the first synopse of the New Testament. He is the father of the religious history (life of Constantin).
- Paul de Thèbes, regarded as the first Christian hermit.
