Events

  • July - September: Synod arien of Tyr joined together by Constantin I {{er}}. The July 11th, the partisans of Eusèbe de Césarée and the mélétiens condemn and deposit Saint Athanase the bishop of Alexandria which is exiled with Trier (until in 337).
  • September 13rd: Dedication of the basilica of the the Holy Sepulchre to Jerusalem.
  • September 17th: Opening of a council with Jerusalem which rehabilitates Arius.
  • September 19th: Flavius Dalmatius is high with the row of César, with the control of the Thrace, Achaïe and the Macedonia (fine in 337).
    • Constantin, anxious to regulate its succession, divides the empire between its three sons and two of its nephews, Dalmatius and Hanniballianus. Constantin II, the elder one, was to receive the Brittany, the Gaulle and the Spain; Constancy, Asia, the Syria and the Egypt; Constant, the Italy, Illyricum and Africa; Delmatius, the Balkans; Hanniballianus Eastern Asia with the title of king of the Bridge.
