March 13rd: Beginning of the reign of Severe Alexandre, Roman Emperor. (until in 235)
- 13 years old, Sévère Alexandre succeeds his cousin Élagabal. Julia Maesa, their large mother, controls the helped empire of the lawyers Ulpien and Paul and of a made up council of regency senators.

March 11th: Héliogabale (Élagabal), Roman Emperor, assassinated, with his/her mother Julia Soaemias, by legionaries during an inspection. Their bodies are thrown to the the Tiber by the Praetorian ones.
