The tests take place in particular at the stage Panathénaïque (60.000 places) restored for the occasion. To note that competitions of veil and Aviron were initially programmed, but they cannot be held because of the bad conditions of sea.
April 6th. After fifteen centuries of interruption, the first crowned Olympic champion is the American James Connolly who gains the contest of triple jump with 13,71 Mr.
