Events

June: Mehmet II takes the Turkish emirate of Sinope.

Mathias Corvin concluded from alliances with the king of Bohemia Georges de Poděbrady (January) of which he marries the Catherine girl and the archduke of Austria Albert de Habsbourg (April) against the emperor Frederic III. This one is put in rout and an armistice is signed with Laxenbourg until the June 24th 1462.
