144.000

144.000 (hundred forty-four thousand) is the Entier naturalness which precedes to 144001 and which succeeds 143999.

Biblical reference

It is a reference Biblique, present in the Apocalypse of Jean and who describes the “marked servants of the divine seal”:

7:1 - After which I live four Angels, upright with the four corners of the ground, retaining the four winds of the ground so that it blew of wind, neither on the ground, neither on the sea, nor on any tree.

7:2 - Then I live another Angel to assemble the East, carrying the seal of alive God; he shouted of a powerful voice to the four Angels to which it was given to abuse the ground and the sea:

7:3 - " Wait, to abuse the ground and the sea and the trees, which we marked with the face the servants of our God. "

7:4 - And I learned how much were then marked seal: hundred forty-four thousand, of all the tribes of wire of Israel.

7:5 - Tribe of Juda, twelve thousand were marked; Tribe of Ruben, twelve thousand; Tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;

7:6 - Tribe of Aser, twelve thousand; tribe of Nephtali, twelve thousand; Tribe of Manassé, twelve thousand;

7:7 - Tribe of Siméon, twelve thousand; Tribe of Lévi, twelve thousand; tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand;

7:8 - Tribe of Zabulon, twelve thousand; Tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; Tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were marked. Triumph of the elected officials to the sky.

Interpretation of the Witnesses of Jéhovah

In interpretation that make of them the Témoins of Jéhovah, the “144.000” are the “spiritual Jews” or “spiritual Israel” (i.e. members known as “oints” of the organization of the Witnesses of Jéhovah).

So while referring to Révélation 7:4 and 14:1,3, the Témoins of Jéhovah think that only 144.000 individuals (figure taken in the literal sense) will profit from the immortal life in the skies, as kings and priests at the sides of Jesus Christ. The choice of these oints by Jéhovah would have been spread, according to the Witnesses of Jéhovah, over one twenty centuries period, energy of the overflowing of the the Holy Spirit on 120 disciples at the time of the Pentecost of the year 33 of our era until today (before May 2007, this call for the celestial life had ceased in 1935; since, it on there no more advanced date).

They believe that the majority of these oints died already and teach that with the Printemps 1918 Jesus has ressuscity as spiritual creatures all those of the 144.000 which had already died, while those of this group which die since this date are instantaneously ressuscities with the immortal life.
