か
か in Hiragana or カ in Katakana is two kana, characters Japanese, which represent same the more. They are marked and occupy the 6th place of their respective spelling-book, between お and き.
Origin
The hiragana か and the katakana カ come, via the Man' yōgana, of the Kanji 加.
Diacritic
か and カ can be diacrities to form が and ガ and to represent the sound.
Romanisation
According to the systems of romanisation Hepburn, Kunrei and Nihon, か and カ romanisent themselves in “ka” and が and ガ in “ga”.
Layout
The hiragana か is written in three features:- Milks horizontal, from left to right, then vertical and slightly curved towards the left, finished by a diagonal hook upwards and from right to left.
- Milks diagonal from top to bottom and from right to left, cutting the first feature.
- Milks diagonal with the right-hand side of both first, slightly curved.
The katakana カ is written in two features:
- Milks horizontal, from left to right, then diagonal from top to bottom and from right to left, finished by a diagonal hook upwards and from right to left.
- Milks diagonal from top to bottom and from right to left, cutting the first feature.
