Évremond de Bérard

Évremond de Bérard , painter of the French school , of the department of Var origin , born with Holy-Anne (Guadeloupe), in 1824, deceased with Paris in 1881.

1824 June 30th, birth of Evremond, Auguste, Léopold de Bérard with Holy-Anne (the Guadeloupe).

1877 Evremond de Bérard is in charge of a mission in India, for searchs for natural history, particularly relating to Botany, the Anthropology and the reproduction of the plants by the drawing.!

1878-1879 Remain in the areas of the North of India (currently, India, Pakistan, Cachemire), from where Evremond, patient, bring back many watercolours and drawings full with precision and poetry.

1880 Present the last two tables on India to the living room of the artists of Paris.

1881 January 25th, death of Evremond de Bérard, victim of paludism. It is buried in the family vault to the cemetery of the Father-Lachaise.
