Geography

Étréaupont is located in Thiérache at the confluence of the Oise and Tuna (or Your), with approximately 15 km in the west of Hirson and with 9 km in the north of Vervins.

History

As the etymology of its name indicates it, Étréaupont is located on old a Roman Voie.

Formerly, there were two castles strong, one pertaining to the lords of Guise, and the other with the lords of Coucy.

It remains on a side the rectangular ditches and other the vestiges of a feudal Motte older.
